SKY WATCH FRIDAY #7

Hi am come back from one week hollydays on the mont great week i have.


Sami gammi on Hardanger vidda i so see this head so i shoot. But i like to see wild and live caribou. but is hang on wen i see at sami gammi and sammi pepole live with caribou all so some of that culture caribou is inporten to them.

    I shot a photo at the same place 1978, that means 30 yers ago, an since that time I love the Hadanger Vidda.
    Great shot, wunderful collers, mine was done on a could and rainy day.

  34. I can relate to that trophy of that caribou. My father used to hunt once a year in autumn. The meat would be cooked and preserved for winter time. I remember as a small child to touch the dead animals fur and wonder what it felt like to be dead. The meat would feed us on Sundays it was delicious. Different times to today! I still have chamois horns and small antlers written at the back by the hand of my father,(Spluegen Switzerland 1935!)
    Your picture sunset is lovely in its subttle colours with a hint of the setting sun. The "white" night picture is beautiful too. This is a long comment I hope you don't mind.
